Each year, the Montana Electric Cooperatives’ Association awards four scholarships (one in each district) in the amount of $500 each. These scholarships are funded by individual contributions to the Memorial Scholarship Program.

2026 Scholarship Winners
Qualifications
To qualify for the scholarships:
- The applicant or their parent/guardian must be a member of a Montana electric cooperative;
- The applicant must be a graduating high school senior with plans to attend a university or vocational technical school, or be an undergraduate college student

Applications for the MECA Memorial Scholarship become available in the Winter. Check with your local cooperative for application materials.
