Each year, the Montana Electric Cooperatives’ Association awards four scholarships (one in each district) in the amount of $500 each. These scholarships are funded by individual contributions to the Memorial Scholarship Program.

2024 Scholarship Winners
Qualifications
To qualify for the scholarships:
- The applicant or their parent/guardian must be a member of a Montana electric cooperative;
- The applicant must be a graduating high school senior with plans to attend a university or vocational technical school, or be an undergraduate college student
How to Apply
Applications for the MECA Memorial Scholarship become available in the Fall and are typically due in January. Check with your local cooperative for application materials.
