Job Description

Missoula Electric is accepting applications for three temporary/seasonal grounds worker positions. One position is in Seeley Lake and two are in Missoula.

These positions are a six-month or less, entry-level, non-union positions with no benefits. The main job function is to assist Journeyman Linemen with building, maintaining and repairing the Cooperative’s electrical system.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful graduate from a nationally accredited lineman program preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
Must hold or be able to obtain, within 30 consecutive days of hire, a valid Montana Class A, Interstate Commercial Driver’s License.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
All successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment physical screening, drug/alcohol testing and background check.
Must be able to manage the physical demands of the job as described in the job description.
