Description of Event
The course will be instructed by Curtis Boyer of Emerald Transformer (formerly of Solomon who taught the course MECA held in 2021). The following topics will be covered:
- Voltage Regulator Theory
- Voltage Regulator Safety
- Voltage Regulator Maintenance
- Tap Change Overview and Discussion
- Control Panel Overview
- Troubleshooting/Common Issues
- Bypassing & Putting Units into Service Safely
- Hands-On Training (Regulator & Regulator Accessories)
- Other Technical & Operational Overview of Specific Parts & Units
**If you have 1 or 2 spare panels you could bring for the training, it would be helpful. The instructor doesn’t have enough panels for the entire class.
To register, please fill out the attached registration form and return it to Lea or via fax at 406-761-8339 . There is a class size limit of 30 participants, so please fill out your form as soon as you can but no later than the registration deadline of May 31, 2024.
